Dear Customers,

I am honored to share with you that today Intergraph® announced the acquisition of GT STRUDL® technology from Georgia Tech Research Corporation. As part of the acquisition, the skilled staff and management team of the Computer-Aided Structural Engineering Center (CASE Center) have joined the Intergraph CADWorx and Analysis Solutions (ICAS) group managed by Rick Allen, and will remain in the Atlanta, Georgia, area.

This acquisition combines the strengths of Intergraph, the world leader in enterprise engineering and design solutions, with a widely respected and world leader in structural design and analysis.

Both Intergraph and GT STRUDL share common industry sectors, clients, and experiences in complementary areas of the engineering process. We see this as a great opportunity to grow the adoption of both Intergraph and GT STRUDL solutions in the engineering enterprise and to continue the expansion of our world leadership in the process, power and marine industries.

Customers of GT STRUDL will benefit from Intergraph’s strength and stability and our global product development and support capabilities. As we move forward, we will work toward a more unified and integrated engineering and design environment – one in which all of our enterprise solutions products, including GT STRUDL, will play an important part.

GT STRUDL will incorporate its popular annual user conference into HxGN LIVE as we integrate its users and staff into Intergraph Process, Power & Marine. We consider the GT STRUDL business, and the significant experience and knowledge of its team members, vital to our future growth. We are pleased to have GT STRUDL join our organization.
